News & Presse
As in the last two years before, we will be at EXECinsurTech again this year. Organizers will report from their point of view what participants can expect from this conference format and how they can get actively involved.
Who doesn't know it: leaving a conference prematurely or at least being relieved when it comes to an end in the evening?
At this point, you and the organizers could have saved themselves the trouble of attending or hosting the conference at all. It's actually always the same story when it comes to events that don't deliver what they promise. The content is generic and not geared to your needs. The speakers are there mainly because their names sell tickets, not because they give you lasting value. And the organizers often get lost in maximizing profits at the expense of event quality. I've put together some of the ways we at EXEC deal with these challenges to make your participation truly rewarding. Because your time is the most valuable asset we can ask for.
Let's start with the location.
The right presentation is at least as important as the right content (more on that later). EXEC is about casual and honest encounters. #FIRSTNAMEONLY
We do everything we can to ensure that our events do not become an obligatory business appointment, but something you can look forward to. That's why we choose our venues so that they are something special. Something you won't experience every day. And a special experience requires the right setting. All this is important to get you out of your everyday life. Of course in a positive way. Only in this way are you ready to take in all the new things and to be open to meeting many new People.
Next, the reason why we do all this at all: our participants.
All our participants are chosen by us. We look at each application individually to make sure that all participants really fit the EXEC. We believe we have the right number of participants to still have an overview of who is there, to minimize the risk that you won't waste your time on conversations that won't get you anywhere. Every conversation you have should be useful and honest. #NOBULLSHIT
We are particularly proud that our speakers and experts are people like you and me. As already mentioned, they are selected by expertise and not by name. This makes them accessible because they want to benefit from your participation. They will stay on site after their sessions to answer open questions and connect with you. There is no backstage area. At EXEC everyone is a VIP.
And finally our content.
At EXEC we attach great importance to the quality of our content and not to quantity. We try to have just enough sessions to meet your needs for new insights without overtaxing you. But the best thing about the content is that it really brings you something. Our content is not about shortcuts to success, but about connecting the right people. You know for yourself that success is more about the right relationships and the right amount of work than listening to motivational speeches. That's why our experts offer very concrete content on things and topics that are really important in your daily work. As already mentioned: We select our experts by knowledge and not by name. Some topics in 2019 will be:
"Practical Application of Artificial Intelligence in Customer Service" by Fabian Beringer, Co-Founder e-bot7, "Can immutable logs create a new foundation for digital insurance?" by Stephan Noller, CEO of Ubirch or "How can insurtech startups and reinsurers work together to shape the insurance industry?" by Konstantin Von Jagow, Director Digital Partners at Munich Re Digital Partners. Read more about the agenda here.
We don't offer content you could have found online. We know that your time is too valuable for that. And ours too. I would therefore like to give you a brief overview of our formats and why we host them.
At our Masterclasses and Discussion Tables you sit in small groups. This is crucial because it encourages lively discussions and leaves enough room for questions. These formats are designed to give the participants a deep insight into very specific topics in order to gain new or further insights into the topics.
Our keynotes, panels and fireside chats on stage provide interesting insights and opinions that you can discuss later. We strive to create content on stage that the audience can identify with.
And if you're not in a session, you have many other opportunities to meet all kinds of people who are likely to add value. Our Business Speed Dating and Networking App talque will take care of that.
And if you're not attending a session, you have many other opportunities to meet all kinds of people who are highly likely to provide you with added value.
Our Business Speed Dating and Networking App talque will take care of that. And even if you don't have your own session, you should share your knowledge with others. We encourage everyone to play an active role in making EXECinsurtech an event that benefits everyone. We believe that everyone is an expert at something.
The formats we offer are a mixture of feedback and own insights we have gathered over the last five years. We don't have answers for everything. But that's why we ask you what you want as a participant.

We are looking for improvements and new ideas!
It often seems as if the organizers are losing focus on the essentials of a conference. It has always been important for us to connect the right people in the right environment. Everything we do revolves around this idea. This helps us not to lose focus for what is important to you. We want to build an honest and sincere relationship with you so that we can be the conference you love.
